Overcoming Overwhelm

Come here, let me tell you a secret. There are two things anyone can do to overcome overwhelm. Are you ready? Okay, the two things that anyone can do at any time to overcome overwhelm are to create systems and get support. Every client, no matter what kind of business are in, no matter what kind of level of business they're at, they can make six figures, five figures, seven figures. Overwhelm is one of those problems that seems to seep into any business owners business. And the first thing to look at is what are your systems and what kind of support do you have? Do you have systems set up so that you understand the flow of your business, and are they set up so that you can have hands free management of your business as much as possible?

Now, this doesn't mean you can set it or forget it. And if anyone tells you that, I just want to scream when I hear that, right? There are no set it and forget it businesses that are really successful. You have to have your pulse on the finger of your business to really run it. And to help it thrive. However, you don't have to have your fingers in every aspect of your business. And if you do it correctly and you set up systems, you'll be able to create an overview of your business that is quick and efficient, and allows you to make movements as needed, without digging all the way down into the deep, nitty gritty of every function of your business.

Next, that brings us to support. That's how you create the systems that work, right? Part of creating a system that works is to understand that you will absolutely need support, the right kind of support. I, myself have had the unfortunate experience and I hope to save you from this, of hiring someone who I then had to oversee every step of what I asked them to do. That is not helpful. That is not a good placement for them or for me, frankly. So, it's really key that we find and we finally agree hopefully, that we need to get support, that we do it in a way that is very tailored to our system, and our style. Who we are, how we are as business leaders, how we function, how we best communicate, and make sure that the people on our team are a good fit.

Does that mean they're exactly like us? Absolutely not. It means that they flow into our and integrate into our business seamlessly or as seamlessly as possible. Like everybody has uptime, right, everybody needs to be onboarded into a system and into a business. However, hopefully, by choosing the right kinds of people to bring onto your team, you will actually minimize the lag time that you have and tada, overcome overwhelm. So, that's the key, systems and support. Help yourself overcome overwhelm no matter what level business you're at.
